Adobe yesterday announced that it is ending its Flash development for mobile phones.
There were lot of rumors about this already in past. The flash technology was firstly developed by Jonathan Gay for his SmartSketch application. Later it was acquired by Adobe which created a range of products supporting this platform. Nowadays, Flash is considered as outdated and developers are slowly moving towards the HTML5. Adobe was for a long time resisting to admit that HTML5 is better solution for low powered mobile phones. Adobe announced that it will continue to release bug fixes and provide support.
