Browse folders with Thumbnails preview

Resco Photo Viewer is optimized for browsing albums and folders with numerous images.

The split mode allows easy browsing of your image folders with instant preview.

Resco Viewer offers several thumbnail modes and common image operations such as copy/move, rename, delete, reorder, send via email/IrDA/Bluetooth.

All of this can be done in the multi-selection mode.

Save as Wallpaper or Contact

You can select your favorite image and use it as a wallpaper for the Today screen - even with the user determined transparency.

Assign to contact feature allows selection of suitable image cutout for your address book.

Edit mode

Despite the word "Viewer" in its name, Resco Photo Viewer contains several image editing features as well.

After entering the Edit mode, the application offers the possibility to crop the image area and change the image resolution. Moreover it is possible to adjust the contrast, brightness and gamma correction.

Once the image is ready, it can be saved in one of 3 common image formats (JPG, PNG, BMP).

Drawing mode

The possibility to add annotations to images is also included.

In addition to the basic text notes the Photo Viewer also offers a drawing mode.

In this mode it is possible to draw simple graphical objects (like lines, rectangles, circles and text) over the image and save them into the same or a new image file.

Slideshow mode

Another useful feature of the Viewer is the slideshow. Watch your images in fullscreen while listening to your favorite MP3 music in the background.

Resco Photo Viewer can be also used for your business presentations. Just convert your PowerPoint presentation using the Desktop Album Generator or PowerPoint->RAB file filter and run it as a slideshow directly from your device.

Enhanced Picture Viewing and Zoom mode

Resco Photo Viewer uses bilinear interpolation for images zoomed to less then 100 %. Thanks to this technology you won't see the jagged artifacts on large images downscaled to palm size anymore. The image display is nice and smooth.

Digital Video Player

Resco Photo Viewer is capable of playing videos in MPEG 1 format.

We have implemented all standard operations such as Play, Stop, Pause or Play in Loop.

Resco Desktop Optimizer

Desktop Optimizer is a Windows Desktop application distributed as a part of the Photo Viewer.

It is a three step Wizard (load images, optimize images, set the output location) that will guide you through the process of album creation.

It offers some basic image editing techniques (zoom, rotation) as well as color transformation schemes suitable for devices with reduced color palette.
