Finally it comes!:D
And I have a little suggestion, I hope the "previous" and "next" button can show in bottom of the screen, make it more comfort to move between photos. (Because finger will block screen if you push the button on top of it.)

Hi

Excellent work Michal! I will definitely be buying the final release. Would you be able to make a few adjustments for the final release tho? Just small things i have noticed:

1. Could we have the use of swipe scrolling when viewing a photo, like the nokia photos app? (eg: drag from one picture to the next with a swipe of the finger)

2. When in icon view, we can't see the name of the folder until we open it. Better way would be a two-tap, eg: tap once to highlight the folder (and to display the folder name at the top), and a second tap to open it?

3. Just a tidy up with spacing, placement, etc of buttons.

4. This is only minor, but no need for a beep sound when asking to exit?

If you could possibly implement these changes, especially 1 and 2, i will definitely support resco by buying the app!

Thanks
Mark

brillint... absolutely what i wanted... thankyou loads resco i will definatly be buying the final version..

Suggestion...

after playing around with all features for about a hour.. lol iv come up with something that may make the whole experience of flicking through photo's and zoming better.

my settings.. image set to fill screen and rotate to the right.
therefore when im holding my n97 looking at a image with the on screen controlls not showing it would be better if i could flick to the next image by using the volume keys on the side of my phone. these are perfectly possitioned and would allow me to flick to the next image without the on screen controls popping back up.
vol + next image
vol - previous image

also maybe programming the volume buttons so a single tap would do the above and a prolonged press (say a second) would enter zoom mode where a single press of vol + would then zoom in 10% and a single press of vol - would zoom out.
All this (if possible) would allow full screen viewing of photo with zoom ability and next, prev image without prohibating the image with on screen controlls..
What You Think???

also for us n97 users out there.. we have a flick out keyboard so if poss giving the keys functions. e.g
"Q" zoom in by 10%
"A" zoom out by 10 %
"W" Rotate Right
"S" Rotate left
this would also allow full viewing of photo's without the on screen controls prohibating picture.

Must say... iv had your photo viewer on all my past nokias and there's no beating your app mate, nice one

Please let me know what you think about my suggestion
Regards
Mat

Bug rapport
1)RPV does not see pictures everywhere
Ex: i have 100 pics in E disk(phones hard drive) and 300 in F(memory card) but RPV cas see only 135 ... :(

I hope that you will add swipe function to see previous or next photo coz its not so cool to use sensor buttons for that.
Oh and i think that zooming future is so good.Dubble tap will be more handy for zooming

I suggest it will be comfortable if it support dragging from one picture to the next picture with a swipe of the finger.
Also I hope the "previous" and "next" button can show in bottom of the screen in portrait mode, make it more comfortable to move between photos.
I noticed a small bug in slideshow feature. I had to change slide effect to another to fix it.

Thanks

Thank-you
There is 1 option missing in the Crop and Resize option. The Crop to retangle option isn't there as it was on my n73 version. Could this option be added.

Hi. Thank you for your mail. However I don't know if it's me but touch scrolling doesn't work on my Omnia HD. Any suggestions for settings or where to install? Thanks again. It is nice to have pix in the folders. Very convenient.
But slide show works fine on my Samsung Omnia HD (touch device)

Hello,

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try to implement as many of them as it will be possible.

By default, RPV is searching only these folders for images: c:\data\images, e:\images and e:\dcim. Then you can turn folders on and navigate to your images yourself (you will see filesystem like on a pc). when folders are on, you can also add more folders to the standard search paths. Just select folder and then Options->File->Add to standard folders. Now if you turn folders off, images from newly added folders should also appear in the list.

There is no setting for touch scrolling as well as it doesnt depend on install location.

Does any other touch actions (scrolling with scrollbar, opening image, opening menu using softkeys, changing settings or pressing icons when image is opened) work?

If you mean, with touch scrolling, navigating between images when image is open, this doesnt work currently. You can only pan image if it is larger then display.

Best regards,
Michal Sartoris

hi,

another useful feature is to add in "corp" menu a "corp current view" feature
cause it takes along time to set the cursors in the right position.
zooming is faster:
zoom in -> corp current view -> save file.

thanks

Dobrý den, vypadá to úžasně.
