AI power ups
AI-generated templates: Transform ideas into professional questionnaires in seconds
Creating comprehensive questionnaires and inspection forms has traditionally been time-consuming, requiring careful consideration of question types, formatting, and logical flow. The new AI-generated templates feature transforms this process by letting you create complete questionnaire content through simple text prompts.
The system automatically generates appropriate question types with proper formatting and styling, understanding context to suggest relevant questions and organize them logically. You can review and edit all generated elements before finalizing their templates, ensuring the output meets your specific business requirements.

For example, entering “Create a safety inspection form for construction sites” will generate a comprehensive questionnaire with sections covering equipment checks, hazard assessments, and compliance requirements. The AI selects appropriate question types – multiple choice for yes/no safety checks, numeric inputs for measurements, and text fields for detailed observations.
This dramatically reduces template creation time while maintaining professional quality, regardless of your technical expertise. You can quickly prototype and test new inspection processes without extensive resources, focusing on refining forms rather than building them from scratch.
AI assistant for fetch/sync filter: Make advanced filtering more accessible
Complex data filtering has long been a barrier for many app makers, often requiring developer expertise to create efficient sync filters. The new AI Assistant integration changes this by bringing natural language processing directly into filter editing within Woodford.

The assistant can generate FetchXML from natural language descriptions and explain complex existing filters in plain English. Simply describe the data you want to sync using everyday business language, such as “Sync only active accounts in the Northeast region created in the last 6 months” or “Get all service appointments scheduled for next week for premium customers.”
The AI handles multi-condition filters with AND/OR logic, understanding both technical field names and common business terminology. For existing filters, the summarize function translates complex FetchXML into readable explanations, making maintenance and troubleshooting much more accessible.
This advancement makes advanced filtering capabilities available to all app makers, reducing dependency on developers while optimizing mobile data sync for better field performance.
Mobile app development capabilities
Convert model driven app into Resco app in minutes
As highlighted in our roadmap presentation, seamless integration between Power Platform and Resco mobile solutions is a key strategic priority. The new Power Apps converter delivers on this vision by creating Resco mobile projects from existing Microsoft Power Apps with just a few clicks.

The conversion process automatically handles forms, views, and charts, preserving the structure and logic of your original application while adapting it for mobile optimization. This eliminates the manual rebuilding effort that previously required significant time and expertise.
For partners, this feature enables rapid customer demos by quickly converting existing Power Apps into mobile experiences. Power Platform administrators can explore Resco’s mobile capabilities without deep-diving into app project designer tools, dramatically accelerating the evaluation and adoption process.
The converter intelligently analyzes your model-driven app’s metadata and imports only the components necessary for mobile scenarios, ensuring optimal performance while maintaining functionality. More complex applications may require additional review, but the foundation is established automatically.

Azure DevOps integration: Enterprise-grade version control for Woodford
Responding to enterprise customer needs, Woodford now supports Azure DevOps as a source version control option, complementing the existing GitHub integration. This enables proper branching strategies, automated deployments across environments, and improved team collaboration through familiar DevOps workflows.

The integration works with existing Azure DevOps environments, allowing you to push projects, manage version history, and synchronize changes directly through the Woodford interface. All changes automatically appear in Azure DevOps history, maintaining comprehensive audit trails.
New Power Components: Advanced visualization and scheduling tools
This release introduces four sophisticated components for model-driven Power Apps, each designed to address specific business needs:
Visual Timeline provides a unified, chronological view of all activities related to a record, consolidating phone calls, emails, tasks, notes, and appointments into a single visual stream. Sales representatives can trace complete customer engagement histories, while support agents can review comprehensive case timelines without switching between multiple tables.

Hierarchy Control visually presents parent-child relationships through dynamic, tree-like structures that can be navigated by expanding and collapsing nodes. This simplifies understanding of complex organizational charts, account hierarchies, and project dependencies, reducing cognitive load when working with nested data structures.

Scheduler (Beta preview) offers an interactive calendar for managing assignments, appointments, and resource allocation. The drag-and-drop interface allows you to visualize availability, identify conflicts, and optimize resource utilization in real-time. This component, refined through years of use in Resco Suite, is now available as a standalone Power Platform tool in preview.

Configurator (Beta preview) serves as a no-code setup tool for all these components, providing a graphical interface for defining views, filters, colors, working hours, and behaviors. This dramatically simplifies deployment and maintenance, making advanced configurations accessible to business users without requiring JSON or FetchXML expertise.
Enhanced security and authentication options
MSAL for SharePoint and Exchange brings Microsoft’s modern authentication library to your SharePoint and Exchange integrations. If you’re working with organizations that have implemented strict security policies, you can now connect to these Microsoft services using secure, modern authentication methods.
This ensures your mobile apps remain compatible with Microsoft’s evolving security frameworks while maintaining seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.
Auth0 Support gives you a new option for managing user identities in external-facing mobile applications. When you’re building apps for partners or customers, you can now leverage Auth0 as your identity provider.

This is particularly valuable if you’re already using Auth0 for other company systems – you can maintain consistent authentication across your entire application ecosystem while taking advantage of Auth0’s comprehensive security features and user management capabilities.
Advanced developer tools
JSBridge enhancements introduce new capabilities for editable grids, including the onCellClick function for dynamic dropdown updates. You can now create more interactive and context-aware list views, implementing complex business logic directly within editable interfaces.
UX/UI enhancements
Enhanced InspConverter: Simpler questionnaire modernization
If you’re managing questionnaire upgrades, the enhanced InspConverter tool makes your life significantly easier. You can now select multiple questionnaires directly from the view and convert them all at once – no more tedious one-by-one processing.
The new preview feature lets you verify your conversion settings before executing them, reducing the risk of unexpected results. You can also switch questionnaires to template-dependent format without converting the underlying answer storage to JSON, giving you a more flexible migration path when you need to modernize systems gradually.
This tool is available on demand through Resco support, so contact them when you’re ready to streamline your questionnaire modernization process.
Unified dropdowns and better touch interactions: Consistent experience across all devices
Unified dropdowns eliminate the frustration of inconsistent interfaces across different platforms. When you build your apps, you can now rely on standardized dropdown controls that work the same way whether your users are on iOS, Android, or Windows. This means less training time for your teams and fewer support calls about interface differences.
Fully clickable card headers make your apps much easier to use in the field. Instead of forcing users to aim for tiny expand/collapse buttons, they can now tap anywhere on a card’s header to expand or collapse it. This is especially valuable when your users are wearing gloves, working in vehicles, or dealing with challenging field conditions where precise touch interactions are difficult.
Views with horizontal scrolling: Better data visibility across platforms
Addressing customer feedback, views now support horizontal scrollbars across iOS, Android, and Windows platforms. This prevents data truncation in wide tables without forcing redesigns or reducing information density, particularly valuable for data-intensive applications on larger screens.
Design tools
Consistent home screen designer gives you the same powerful, modern editing experience you’re already familiar with from the View designer. When you’re creating custom home screens, you now have access to the same intuitive interface and advanced features, making it easier to build sophisticated app navigation that matches your users’ needs.
The updated editor supports both standard rows and section rows, giving you more flexibility in how you organize and present information on your app’s home screen.
