The RESCO Inspections app is used solely within RESCO’s customer networks/environments and with customer backend systems. RESCO has no access to any customer data and is NOT processing your personal data.

RESCO customers, and not RESCO, determine the legal basis, how, and why Personal Data is processed. RESCO’s customers are the controllers under GDPR (“Data Controller”) and RESCO does not process any personal data.

As Data Controllers, RESCO’s customers are responsible for disclosing the rights of individuals (“Data Subjects”) with respect to their personal data and other information regarding the collection and use of that personal data, in accordance with the GDPR, and other laws requiring such disclosures.

Typically, you are an employee of an organization which acquired licenses for Resco Inspections. Please contact your employer for more specific data privacy information.

Scope of this privacy notice

The scope of this privacy information is the usage of the RESCO Inspections App. RESCO is not processing personal data in relation with the Inspections App.

Insofar as RESCO acts as a Data Controller for other processing activities, RESCO processes personal data in accordance with the Resco.net Privacy Notice.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, when providing support services for our customers, we might process personal data. Please see the privacy notice for RESCO’s product support.

Personal data processed under this notice

RESCO does not process any personal data in regard to the RESCO Inspections App. The Inspections App is used within our customers environments and RESCO has no access to the data.

Security

RESCO’s Inspections App product is developed according to our secure engineering principles. When developing the Inspections App, we use standard, industry-wide practices such as encryption of data at rest and in transit, and we conduct regular vulnerability assessments.

However, as effective as security technology is, no system is impenetrable.

RESCO cannot guarantee the security of our Apps.

Children

RESCO does not process any personal data in relation to the RESCO Inspections App. The data stored within the app solely depends on RESCO’s customers product usage. Please contact your employer for more information.

What are your rights regarding the personal data we hold about you?

In relation with RESCO Inspections, RESCO does not process any of your personal data.

Data subjects in the EU may have certain rights regarding the processing of their personal data. You can obtain information about the applicable rights and how to exercise them from the relevant customer, that is the Data Controller of your personal data.

  • Access
    Within the scope of our authorization to do so, RESCO will work with its customers, the Data Controllers, to support them in providing their Data Subjects access to their personal data.
  • Corrections
    RESCO will take reasonable steps to enable individuals, in connection with its customers, to correct, amend, or delete personal data that is demonstrated to be inaccurate.
  • Questions and other requests
    data, about your choices and rights regarding such collection, retention and use, or wish to exercise your rights under applicable law, you should contact the RESCO customer that is the Data Controller of your personal data (this may be your employer). We will forward any such communications to our customer, provide you with contact information for the customer, and work with the customer to address your questions and/or facilitate your choices and rights as appropriate.

  • Complaints
    RESCO may be able to assist you in resolving any complaints about the collection or use of your personal data. We will forward your complaint to the relevant customer (often the employer associated with that account), who is the Data Controller of that personal data. You may wish to reach out to the Data Controller before contacting RESCO, as the Data Controller may be in the best position to resolve your issue.
  • Complaints to supervisory authorities
    RESCO takes your rights very seriously. However, if you are of the opinion that we have not dealt with your complaints adequately, you have the right to submit a complaint to the responsible data privacy protection authorities.
    As your employer is in the position of Data Controller and RESCO does not process any of your personal data, we recommend that you contact your local supervisory authority.
