Bratislava, Slovakia – July 8, 2019 – Resco is celebrating 20 years of serving customers and partners as one of the global leaders in mobility for enterprise IT systems.
Three college friends – Radomir Vozar, Eduard Kirchner and Marcel Saffa – founded Resco in 1999, focusing on mobile software development at the very dawn of mobile technology as we know it today.
Developing for Windows Mobile and Palm OS platforms, the company quickly became one of the most popular providers of games and consumer apps. Resco Keyboard Pro, Resco Defender, Resco Explorer, and several others have reached more than a million users worldwide.
In 2003 Resco fully ventured into the world of enterprise mobility for the first time. The company introduced Mobile Forms Toolkit, a suite of components for mobile application development – helping programmers in companies like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, GE, and Motorola to create their own unique apps.
With the rise of smartphones and the growing importance of mobility for modern business, in 2009 Resco launched its Resco Mobile CRM – a cross-platform mobile client, originally for Microsoft Dynamics CRM – which is currently used by more than 2500 corporate customers and 500 partners around the world.
Since then, the company has also successfully established its U.S. subsidiary in Boston, launched its premier enterprise mobility conference, entered the Salesforce ecosystem and, over the past year and a half, introduced new additions to its product lineup – Mobile Business Apps Platform, Resco Inspections, and Resco Routes.
Starting out as a three-man operation, Resco now has almost 100 employees and has delivered consistent top and bottom line growth, with its average annual revenue growth exceeding 30%.
We’ve started this business in 1999 when mobile software was pretty much an uncharted territory. We’ve tried various approaches and areas and in the end, our business solutions have laid the foundation for what the company is today. Looking into the future, Resco plans to further concentrate its efforts on delivering innovative business solutions – with AI, wearables, and augmented reality being some of the exciting opportunities on the horizon.
