Resco releases Resco Audio for .NET CF Beta
Microsoft Visual Studio library for playing and recording audio on a mobile device.
Bratislava, Slovakia — March 25, 2008 — Resco, a supplier of advanced developer tools and components for mobile devices, today announced availability of Resco Audio for .NET CF Beta. A library that allows the developers to record and play music and sound files in different file formats. The supported file formats include .ogg, .wav, .raf, .spx. The full version will also include .mp3 support.

More sophisticated features include setting the parameters of the encoder like sampling rate, bits per sample, number of channels, etc. One can even use the built-in encoders and decoders to convert the audio data among the supported audio formats.
Pricing and Availability
Resco Audio for .NET CF Beta is now available for download at
http://www.resco.net/developer/mobileformstoolkit/audio.aspx.
It is available free of charge and is intended for testing purposes.
Full version of Resco Audio for .NET CF is planned to be released in June, 2008. It will be part of Resco MobileForms Toolkit license and all customers with valid subscription will be able to download it free of charge.
