How did Woodford get its name?

NotWoodfordStillGoodLong time ago (in 2011) in a land far far away (in Bratislava, Slovakia), Resco’s CEO was asked to name the new customizing tool for Resco Mobile CRM. The first thing he saw served as an inspiration for the product’s name.
As luck would have it, just in that moment he happened to be holding a glass of Woodford Reserve bourbon.

To, we will not only bring our mobile CRM gurus and developers to share their technical and business knowledge, but also some of the liquid version of Woodford.
We know that listening to lots of new information during a conference day can be quite overwhelming. That’s why Juraj Mojik, Resco’s Senior Developer, and his guests will host a premier discussion class on the first day of called: Woodford appreciation class: A true taste of Woodford
You can explore the similarities and differences of Resco Mobile CRM’s customizing tool Woodford and of Woodford Reserve, the premium bourbon whiskey from Kentucky, US.
During this informal session, we will talk about the history of Woodford, the difference between bourbon & whiskey and have some fun while tasting some samples of Woodford bourbon whiskey. You will also have the chance to discuss your CRM scenarios with the Resco crew.
This class will hopefully recharge your batteries for the next day of the conference.
After the session a happy winner of an untouched bottled of Woodford Reserve will be drawn from the participants.
