Is Resco Mobile CRM compatible with Microsoft Dynamics 365?

To be straightforward. Yes.
To put it lightly, with respect to Resco Mobile CRM – nothing has changed.
But if you’d like to learn a little bit more regarding what the hype is about, keep on reading.The term digital disruption might be over-hyped and over-used but in Microsoft’s case, they’re taking on a new sophistication with business transformation and a positive digital disruption in the app ecosystem. Business transformation to be clear, describes the operational steps of applying what technologies used to do, however, in a faster, broader, and more efficient way. For Microsoft, that would be using new digital technologies, entering new markets to perform old business functions in a better way – in with the new, and out with the old!
Microsoft Dynamics 365 aims to unify both current CRM and ERP cloud solutions into one cloud service with a new purpose – built apps to help manage specific business functions such as field sales, finance, operations, management, and even customer service. As Microsoft’s corporate VP for Cloud and Enterprise, Takeshi Numoto suggests, Redmond wants a world with applications where you wouldn’t have to pay an extra dime for added capabilities such as, workflow automation, predictive insights, visualizations, and more.
So with this, comes Microsoft’s new AppSource which is also part of the Dynamics 365 evolution. Over the years, Microsoft has supported ISV (Independent Software Vendor) solutions, however, they have had their ups and downs when it came to staying in line with the online ecosystems that Salesforce pioneered with AppExchange. AppSource intends to change this outlook. In fact, Microsoft hired key AppExchange talent from Salesforce in order to creatively build a unique variation, a rich ecosystem of 3rd-party industry solutions with various different verticals.
So just to keep things simple, here it is, summed up in the most skeletal form:
One thing to note however, considering we see that everything is shifting to a more broadened and unified enterprise cloud app world is, what remains standalone? For those interested – Dynamics GP & SL will remain separate from Dynamics 365.
So based on what’s been made available to us, it seems that Microsoft is trying to be a fellowship of sorts, “one tool, to rule them all”. However, they are not the only ones on the turf and are sure to face some serious market competition from Salesforce, Oracle (especially when it comes to ERP), SAP, and even Resco. What we’ve done in the past year is to expand our outreach in working with many of these companies above, offering integrations suitable for online and on-premise versions in conjunction to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and it’s sure to evolve furthermore.
It’s not easy migrating, and it’s not easy for some to move to a cloud solution as a whole. There are different legislative laws in various countries that make it difficult to move to the cloud. And we understand that.
