Resco now provides its state-of-the-art solutions for yet another product in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 portfolio. From April 6, 2021, all interested partners and customers can seamlessly integrate Resco products with Dynamics 365 Business Central.

How? We’ve created a dedicated Resco Cloud connector which you can now find in the Microsoft Power Automate library. With this connector organizations can easily bring powerful mobile solutions – such as Resco Inspections, Field Service 2.0, Routes, and AR video calls – to their Business Central.

Check out how the integration with Business Central integration works:

Why? Dynamics 365 Business Central is currently growing by 250% year over year. Currently, more than 10,000 businesses across 45 countries run on Business Central. There were only 4,000 of them at the end of 2019. And countless of these companies (with many more to come as existing Dynamics NAV customers are also being moved to Business Central) are in need of a proven mobile technology, to take full advantage of the system when working outside of the office.

Picture a family-owned maintenance company Plumber & Sons. With a staff of thirty people, they are able to efficiently run almost all of their operations with Business Central. It enables them to handle their finances, manufacturing, shipping, projects, or basic service.

However, their technicians could do with a more efficient tool to access and collect information on the go. And seeing the job progress and techs’ current location in real time, would tremendously help their dispatch manager react to any hiccups or last-minute emergencies. But considering the time, costs, and effort required to set up, Dynamics 365 Field Service is simply not viable to implement.

And that’s where Resco comes in with the new Resco Cloud connector. Plumbers & Sons can use it to integrate Resco with their existing Business Central system via Power Automate. And with that, technicians visiting customers can use the Resco mobile app with information flowing freely between the field and Business Central. Details about accounts, contacts, inventory stock, work orders and much more are available in real-time and synced between the field and the office.

Furthermore, techs can use the app even without any Internet connection and automatically sync the data when they get back online. On the other hand, a manager instantly sees the progress back at the office and the inventory they used or requested. And he/she can also even see the staff’s exact whereabouts.

The new Resco Cloud connector also enables to integrate our solutions with other third-party systems that have a connector in the Power Automate library. But more on that later.

If you’d like to try integrating advanced mobile solutions with Business Central, the Resco Cloud connector is available in the Power Automate library. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask us anytime at mobilecrm@resco.net.
