After the purchase you will receive a web link for the download of full installation package. This package is to be installed the same way as the Demo Version Installer.

Internet traffic

Each update takes fixed 800 By plus variable part consisting of the data modified since the last update.
News update takes typically 13 KB, results update usually less.
News update consists of the headlines and short news text.
Full news text can be downloaded separately in case of interest.

Installation

World Cup Mobile 2006 is distributed in a form of a SIS file, which is a Symbian standard for the installation files. The installation consists of two steps:

1. Copying the SIS file to your phone:
   • Using standard PC Connectivity Solution (supplied with the phone)
   • Sending installation package as e-mail attachment
   • Beaming from other device or desktop computer
   • Downloading from the internet using web browser directly from the device
2. Running the SIS file:
   • For this you can use your favorite file manager
   • In some cases (e.g. e-mail or beaming), the installer may start automatically

Uninstallation

• Run the Application Manager on your device
• Find World Cup Mobile 2006 in the list of installed applications
• Choose Remove from menu and follow the instructions

You may optionally leave all settings and downloaded data on your device for future use. To remove these data manually, locate the folder Resco on the phone memory or memory card (it depends on your choice on first time application run) and delete this folder. You can use any file explorer to do this.

Upgrade

• You need to have the full or demo version installed
• Locate the upgrade in the downloads table at the top
• Download the upgrade installer and install it as any other SIS file
• You need to install it to the same storage where the original version was installed

Limitations in the Demo version

• Demo version contains only small part of the complete data.
  For example German release contains:
  • Team report for the Germany team
  • Portraits of selected German players
  • List of all World Cup tournaments with winners
  • Selected stadium reports
• News list displays headlines only; full news text is inaccessible
• Manual result editing is blocked
• Results download is blocked
