With our software you can create backups of your Palm's data, schedule them to occur at
intervals of your choice and restore them when needed.
The RAM data can be saved to the card or any connected drive in general.
Backup
Backup offers compression and encryption; it is fast and efficient in the card space usage.
If you want to update existing backup set with changes made on your handheld, simply press the [Update] button.
Backup offers multi-user and multi-set interface, allows partial selection etc.
Verify
Verify allows reliable check of the stored data in the backup set.
You can decide whether to trust the backup set without complicated testing.
A more powerful diff dialog is also available.
Diff compares backup set against RAM by date or contents and allows controlled update of the backup set.
Projects
A project is simply a set of databases backed up separately.
Each project has its own location, settings, file selection and
scheduler.
A project can be set to backup RAM databases or folders of any drive.
Schedule
Automated backups can be scheduled to run at regular intervals (at certain
day time or every x hours) or can be triggered by specific events:
(before or after) the Hotsync operation, or
when some application terminates
If another application is busy at the scheduled time, the backup can be postponed.
Restore
Restore is the reverse of backup - it allows the restoration of the databases to the state stored in the backup set.
You can perform full restore or compare/restore individual files.
There are situations when the Restore proves to be real life saver.
