Optimize the fixed assets tracking — new version of FAIN available

FAIN brings a huge array of new functionality and features

Bratislava, Slovakia — July 11th, 2012 — ORIWIN, SAP NetWeaver integrator and Resco, vendor of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices, release updated version of FAIN (Fixed Assets Inventory)—a ready-made solution for fixed assets management and inventory.

The new version of FAIN offers a variety of improvements in terms of functionality, supported hardware platforms, installation and configuration.

„With the new version we extended the HW support and we improved the FAIN solution“ said Ivan Vojsovič, Solution Architect, ORIWIN. „Newly added support of Psion Teklogix and Ingenico platforms, which extend the list of already supported Motorola and Intermec hardware, ensures that FAIN is now available on majority of HW and OS platforms used in industry. New features, as Duplicity label check, make the usage of FAIN even easier than before.”

Here is a list of all new features:

• FAIN is now available also for PSION-TEKLOGIX and Ingenico terminals
• Microsoft® Windows CE operating system (versions 5.x and 6.x) is supported
• Duplicity label check function
• Possibility to cancel inventory list – it is used to cancel the inventory list that was created  incorrectly or by mistake
• Possibility to print labels directly from inventory list view - handy for repeated print of damaged labels
• Added possibility to choose ordering criteria for cost centers on portable terminal
• Possibility to create a new asset on portable terminal directly by entering its number
• Identification of unmarkable assets which were confirmed via terminal menu is now available also in SAP system
• Many new settings for portable terminal which makes FAIN configurable also for people without any programming skills
