There's something weird with the swipe function, if I press the screen from left to right, it's supossed to go to the next picture, not the previous one, so it's doing exactly the opposite.

Repeat rate for zoom seems ok to me now! But the first time I zoom in a picture, it actually zooms out. The second time, it zooms in correctly.

BTW, I managed to install this beta by changing the package signature.

Problems with certificate may be caused by different time zone. I'm in Central Europe and if you are living to the west (and far to the west, e.g. America), your local time may be less then time when certificate was generated. Set your date to e.g. tomorrow, install and then set it back should help (or wait until about 15-16:00 of your local time :)).

Swipe may seem to work inverted, but in final version, there will be drag instead of swipe, so the direction will be right. Just think you are dragging image to see next one and you'll be ok :)

You are right. There is a bug in the first zoom. Don't know how this happened :( I'll fix it. Thanks.

The zoom is fixed now!

Regardless of the transition effect, swiping the finger from right to left should always mean "go to the next pic". Take a look at the iPhone (ouch) for instance. By the way, I made a mistake in my previous post, I said "left to right" and it should have been "right to left". To make things clear, this is what I think: right to left: next, left to right: previous.

I had to change the certificate again, and yes, I'm in Argentina and I guess I'm downloading it too fast :)

hi michal,

can you set the zoom to be more linear ,by setting the gaps between each zoom ? (1,2,3...) (2,4,6...)

an option to set the zoom manually is also good. between 1-1600.

thanks,

I also think that the swiping direction should be changed. The problem is: If you have the pictures sorted by date and the newest is on top, and you open for example the second picture in the first row, you have to press on the left arrow to go to the first (=newest) picture, which is on the left side of the second picture (= correct direction), but you have to swipe/drag the picture from right to left -> this would correspond to the third picture at the right side of the second picture.

The same occurs if you sort your pictures Ascending, you have to press on the right arrow to go to the newer image (= on the right side of the current image) but you have to swipe/drag to the opposite direction - that is very confusing.

More than one year after switching from 3230 to 5800 and already getting really tired of all the 5800 deficiencies (as compared to the 3230, shame on Nokia!), and with my Touchscreen and case already being scarred and dirty, finally I can browse my photos by folder again ...

Nevertheless, thank you ever so much! I will buy this tool as soon as it will be available, and probably take my phone to service for a refresh :-).

I agree with the previous posters that the swipe direction needs to be reversed. Think of it as if it were paper: You touch the paper with your finger and drag it to the LEFT, so the pictures on the paper move out to the left and the ones that were on the right of the screen come in. And "reading on" towards the right means forward in Western culture.

Regards
Tobias

great app..  i love it

i think browsing through folders looks better in small-list view and browsing through photo's looks better in large-icons so you get get the mini thumbnails.

would there be a anyway to impliment an option so that all folders and directories etc show as a small-list view but all photo's show as large icons...

i think that would be brill.

Thats a great idea. I never thought of that. All list  folders at the top and all thumbnails undernieth would definatly be a great option for me too

Hi Michal,
it works soooo nice!
I like touch-drag/scroll! It is very convenient. Now I do not feel sorry about NOT getting iPhone. Samsung HD rules (so far). Thank you. Can't wait final version.

Download location has been changed so hopefully everybody can be able to download it.

http://www.resco.net/downloads/symbian/viewer/RescoViewer_S60_EN_beta.sis

I'm expecting new beta version with full drag to the next/prev image fully working within a few days and if there will be no bugs final version can be ready next week.

Best regards,
Michal Sartoris
