Pocket Radio (Smartphone Edition) doesn't install on SAMSUNG SGH-i200

Pocket Radio (Rel.1.71 for Smartphone) and AAC Decoder doesn't install on my SAMSUNG SGH i200, powered by WM 6.1 Standard.
I used the .CAB files for both applications but every time I get the message: "INSTALLATION OF [NAME OF THE .cab FILE] NOT SUCCESSFULL. THE INSTALLATION FILE IS NOT INTENDED FOR THIS DEVICE".

Any idea? Altough the SAMSUNG i200 (on the market from only 3 months) doesn't appear among the suitable devices for this application, it is a WM 6.1 Smartphone....

I discovered a post on XDA-Developers site here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=404425, but this solution doesn't work for me, I always get the error message.

Resco Radio is very important for me and I really need help!!!!

Hi,

I am sending you a cab installation file, try to install it again. In case it still will not work there is also a zip file, just copy the content to your device and create a shortcut of the Radio.exe to Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

Hi, Lukas, I have good news for you: IT WORKS!!!! Now I can listen very well the preset streamings, but I need again a bit help: I would like to listen to other stations and it is not possible, at the moment, to locate the .pls files in the Import menu; could you tell me in which directory I have to put the .pls file (downloaded from Shoutcast, for example), in order to locate correctly this file in the "import radio" menu?

Hi,

I am glad that it helped you.

It doesn't matter where you put the pls file. You need to enter the full path to that file.

Like My device\My Documents\Shoutcast.pls then it will be added.

Hi, Lukas, could you do the same with the AAC Decoder (Smartphone edition)? I'd like to listen AAC station also.....

what are you doing to make the files work on the sgh i200?

I have the same problem with the following application:

I am sorry for the delay, I have sent you the same files as I did to lufthansa.

I am not doing anything special, it just seems like Samsung devices have aplied an application lock. The files I sent were installed on an HTC smartphone.

could you also send that cab. file destination address to my email as well i have the new HTC SNAP and it keeps saying this version is not compatible with windows ce on my phone and i thought i had tried everything. twinnconstruction@live.com

I have downloaded Resco Radio for mobile V.2 "radioen_p.arm.cab" but it is unable to install on my Samsung I200 mobile phone.
