You can edit the custom.map file (from Languages subfolder) using Pocket Word or other text-editing tool.
Please use following virtual codes:
ESC = 1001B
F1   = 10070
....
F10 = 10079
F11 = 1007A
F12 = 1007B

You can place them e.g. on the "1"..."0" buttons with "Au" modifier switched on. The map file fragment should look like this:

2  1 ! 10070 00BF
3  2 @ 10071 00A1
4  3 # 10072 00A2
5  4 $ 10073 20AC
6  5 % 10074 00A3
7  6 ^ 10075 00A5
8  7 & 10076 00A7
9  8 * 10077 00B6
10 9 ( 10078 00B1
11 0 ) 10079 00B0
12 - _ 1001B 00AB

(ESC will be on "-" button next to the numbers).
Unfortunately theses keys will have no label, but they should work (please confirm).

Hi,

Thank you for your help, but when I only modify one line (ex: "12 - _ 00AB 00AB" to "12 - _ 1001B 00AB") he gives me a error "Cannot load the map for selected language. Setting the default language."

Can you help me again?

Thank you,
JF

Ups, I am sorry, I haven't tried it.
I forgot that the virtual codes (larger than 10000) must be on the first place (and not under modifier state).
Please try:

12 1001B

OK, it works well, thank you.

How can I make to appear the label "F1, F2,.., F10" instead of of the label in white (don't show anything)?

Best regards,
JF

Unfortunately, it is not possible in current version. I will take a note to the plans and implement it to the next version.

1. Locate the folder "Languages" in the installation folder
2. open the Custom.map in the text editor (either Pocket Word or copy it on desktop computer and use Notepad)

3. delete the line
12 - _ 00AB 00AB

and put the line

12 1001B

instead of it

4. save the file

5. if you were working on desktop, copy the new file to your device and replace the original file.

6. go to the Resco Keyboard options and select "Custom" layout as a secondary language

7. pop up th keyboard panel and switch to the secondary language - it will have the "ESC" button next to "0"

Hello,

 In version 4.35, is there a way to map one of the custom (FX) buttons to the escape key?

Thank You

Instead of using "Esc" key codes you can possibly use the built in "Ctrl" key codes.
Notes where the claret charactor "^" = Ctrl (Control)

Examples...
^q = Quit (Will close program without saving).
^n = New (On some programs if you have changed anything, will prompt you to...
       "Do you want to save changes to 'filename'?"
 with options...
       "Yes", "No", "Cancel" and "Save As...").

If you require I have many more shortcut Control key codes. Just leave posting on this thread.

BTW you could try ^1 for F1, ^2 for F2, ^3 for F3 etc.
I cannot test this because I am not aware I have any programs that use function keys.
