Marker is a graphical object pinpointing a location (or a set of locations) on a map.
You can specify various parameters that modify the marker appearance - size, color, label etc.

Thread Safety

Public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.

Remarks

Google and Bing have some differences in defining of marker style.

Google

• Markers are defined by color (or icon), size and 1 character's label.

Bing

• You can specify up to 18 markers
• Markers are defined by BingMarkerType and 2 characters Label.
