Returns the zero-based index of the first occurrence of a value in the collection or in a portion of it.

Parameters

An object representing the group to locate in the collection. .

Return Value

The zero-based index of the first occurrence of value within the entire collection, if found; otherwise, -1.

Remarks

The IndexOf method enables you to determine where an group is located within the collection. To determine if an group is located within the collection before calling this method, use the Contains method.
