Product roadmap for 2012

1. New elements with smoother scrolling and more functionality and properties:
   • UIGridView - list of data displayed as a grid
   • UIDataGrid - advanced table like control with header, footer, merge/split of cells and much more...
   • UIToolBar - toolbar with mouse gestures (HTC like toolbar) and animation
   • UITabPanel - tab panels based on UIElement technology
   • UISplitPanel - 2 panels splitted horizontally or vertically.
2. New animation effects – Push, Cover, Uncover
3. Serialization – UIElement panels and controls can be serialized to or deserialized from xml. New predefined templates for business forms (order form, contact form, …) will be included in MFT.
4. Themes – user interface with unified themes stored in XML file. Mobile user can pick a new theme and all controls will change appearance according to that theme.
5. New icons for Icon Library (set of Windows Mobile icons available for all users with active licenses)
6. Touch support for Windows 8 tablets
