Resco announces MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2

Popular component suite with new quality and features.

Bratislava, Slovakia — April 22, 2008 — Resco, a supplier of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices, announces MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2. The new version of this popular suite of Visual Studio components designed specifically for mobile devices will be released on June 10th, 2008. The following main improvements will be included in Volume 2:

Touch Scroll functionality

The feature allows users to scroll the contents of MobileForms Toolkit controls comfortably, using a thumb. Supported controls:

• AdvancedList for .NET - vertical scrolling
• AdvancedTree for .NET - vertical scrolling
• SmartGrid for .NET - vertical and horizontal scrolling
• OutlookShortcutBar for .NET - vertical scrolling
• OutlookMonthCalendar for .NET - horizontal by months/years
• OutlookWeekCalendar for .NET - vertical by hours, horizontal by days/weeks

Audio library

The library allows developers to record and play music and sound files in different file formats. The supported file formats include ogg, wav, raf, spx.

More sophisticated features include adjustable encoder parameters like sampling rate, bits per sample, number of channels, etc. One can even use the built-in encoders and decoders to convert audio data from one supported audio format to another.

Imaging control

The image processing control supports numerous graphic formats including jpg, png, gif, tiff and more. After loading an image to the control, several transformations can be performed such as zooming, rotation, cropping, gamma correction and the modified image can be saved using one of the supported formats.

Pricing and Availability

Resco MobileForms Toolkit 2008 Volume 2 will be released on June 10^th, 2008.

The Standard Edition with 1 year subscription will be priced at $499.95, the Professional Edition at $999.95, and the Enterprise Edition at $1,999.95.

All existing customers with valid subscription will be able to download it free of charge.
