Resco Releases Resco AdvancedList .NET v5.3.1

The ideal list control for mobile devices

Bratislava, SlovakiaJune 13, 2007 — Resco, a leading provider of advanced developer controls and tools for mobile devices, today announced availability of Resco AdvancedList .NET v5.3.1, the list control optimized for .NET Compact Framework 2.0, integrated with the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

One of the most popular functionalities in the Resco AdvancedList .NET control the DelayLoad technology — has now been brought to even higher level. The enhancement that Resco made allows the developers to use the DelayLoad anytime, no matter where you are loading the data from. Together with AdvancedList being able to highlight a specified text in its TextCells, it has become even more versatile tool for building modern mobile device applications.

"No doubt that Resco AdvancedList .NET has been an outstanding control for displaying various types of data.", says Vladimír Gregor, Product Manager at Resco. "By releasing this new version, however, we made it a tool that forms a standard in displaying list-like data in the mobile device applications."

DelayLoad for manual data loading

A new event called RowAdding is fired whenever the Resco AdvancedList .NET is scrolled downwards, so that a new row has to be displayed. In the event handler a new row has to be provided to AdvancedList.

The DelayLoad technology loads only data that are visible to the user and loads more on demand. This feature makes the Resco AdvancedList .NET a perfect tool for displaying huge sources of data instantly.

Text highlight

No doubt that the Resco AdvancedList .NET is one of the best tools you can get for displaying data from a mobile database on a mobile device. Now that AdvancedList is able to automatically highlight any text string in its TextCells simply by assigning a string to its SelectedText property, building a search function with an automatic text highlight in a mobile application has become a simple task indeed.

Pricing and Availability

The Resco AdvancedList .NET v5.3.1 is now available. The Standard Edition is priced at $199.95, the Professional Edition at $399.95, and the Enterprise Edition at $599.95. A free trial version is also available. Resco offers this product with 1 year of support and upgrades.
