Resco announced the release of Resco Explorer 8.0, new version of a popular file manager uniting and utilizing all the key features of each Windows Mobile device

Most of the changes go head to head with improvements of not a long time released new version of Resco Photo Manager.

Some of the new features:

• Image upload to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Picasa, MySpace & Photobucket
  The program is now able to upload image files to the most popular social networks including the biggest web image database -- Flickr.
• Thumbnails View Mode
  The new view mode displays previews of images. It becomes handy (improves the navigation) while seeking in folders with many image files.
• Totally Customizable Today Plug-in
  Today plug-in gets new shape and becomes totally customizable. Add or remove phone tools, applications or documents. The eventual size of the plug-in, therefore, depends only on your choices.

On the 1st of July 2008, Resco Skin Contest has reached its end. During the last two months a total of 52 outstanding skins were added, receiving a total of 5767 votes.

The contest and the brand new HTC Touch device was won by Kie with his Kies Gray Carbon skin. This skin received 2516 votes (43.63%) ITK with the Black and Gold skin and Yozhik with the AeroGlass skin were also the top placed finalists who will receive the 2nd and 3rd prize.
